How easy to grown lettuce in pots or containers

Lettuce is one of fast growing vegetables. It’s pretty easy to grow in pots or containers as their roots don’t need deep soil.
Pots
You can plant lettuce in any plastic pots or garden bags, but make sure that the pots have drainage holes in the bottom.
How
Sow seeds 6” – 12” apart and cover with about 1/4” soil.
Soil
Choose a quality soil mix as it has plenty of nutrients.
Watering
Keep soil slight moist and don’t let soil dry out.
Temperature
Best soil temperature for emerging is 60 to 75 degrees, seed may emerge in 7 to 10 days.
Harvest
You can just harvest outside leaves so that the center leaves can continue to grow. The best time to harvest vegetable crops is morning time, you can get peak flavor and quality.
